I took a road trip to the Olympic Peninsula of Washington with the hubs and some friends in early December.  We stayed at the Quileute Oceanside Resort, on the Quileute Reservation — those of you who are Twilight fans will recognize the name.  No werewolves sighted, alas.  My cousin, by the way, is the biology teacher at Forks High School; it was fun to hear his take on living the Twilight life for real.  It was a beautiful stay on the coast, cold but clear.  The photo below was taken at Second Beach.
